Will Obama End the Medical Marijuana Raids? | Stop the Drug War (DRCNet)

Will Obama End the Medical Marijuana Raids? | Stop the Drug War (DRCNet): "When Barack Obama enters the White House in January, will he make good on his promise to end federal interference with state medical marijuana laws? Reformers have not easily forgotten the broken promise of George Bush, who spoke of 'state's rights' regarding medical marijuana on the campaign trail only to subsequently declare war on patients and providers in states that protect medical use."

If Ron Paul had been elected there would be no doubt.

The choice of Biden makes it very doubtful that there will be any positive reforms in this administration.I also called Obama on this and other drug issues and always got the same kind of song and dance with no real promises. This is the closest to a promise I've seen but we all know how much the man has moved to the right. It's just really hard to imagine anyone wanting to harass sick people for any reason.Only time will tell if we get a hypocrite or a reasonable man.Politicians are the most slippery beasts on planet Earth.
